Addiction and/or violence?
Dealing with addiction
When you are dealing with an addiction it can be a scary and overwhelming process. You may think that you can deal with it alone, but why carry such a heavy load alone? You do not have to deal with an addiction by yourself. There are support centers and groups in your area that can help you.
- For drug and alcohol addiction, you can contact Pathways at 1-888-241-1135. All services are completely confidential.
- If you aren’t sure where to go for help, call the PMFRC. We can offer short-term support as well as referrals to community resources that would best suit your needs.

Dealing with violence and abuse
Are you safe? If you are not feeling safe in your current relationship, there are many supportive agencies in the community to assist you. The PMFRC can assist you in finding housing if you need to flee your situation. We can work together to develop a safety plan for yourself and your children, if you have any.
