Crisis Intervention Worker

Our Crisis Intervention Worker offers crisis intervention and short term emotional support for individuals, couples and families.

We can assist you in dealing with issues and situations you find personally challenging. 

Counselling gives you a chance to be heard without judgment by someone outside of your situation. You can also acquire knowledge and learn new skills, which can help you find your own solutions. Assistance can be provided for a variety of issues such as deployment, relationships, parenting, youth and teen difficulties, stress, grief, loss, anxiety and self esteem, addictions and living with violence.

Appointments can be booked Monday to Friday, during the day. The service is confidential and free.

Referrals are available for agencies and services in Renfrew County and/or for Base services such as medical, financial, Base Social Worker, Padres, school counsellor and food bank.

  • Canadian Forces Member Assistance Line (CFMAP) > 1-800-268-7708 - Confidential 24 hour service, a counsellor from the Members Assistance Program will put you in contact with a wide variety of organizations and professionals
