Why not try volunteering with the PMFRC?

We have numerous volunteer options for you to try and will gladly sit down with you to tell you what our community has to offer. Free child care is available at our North or South Side child care services for preschool aged children while you volunteer.   This is based on availability. Please book ahead

In order to Volunteer you need to:

1. Have a current, valid Criminal Reference Check (which we can help you obtain!)
2. Have a Personal Reference (a form we will mail or email to the individuals you choose)
3. Complete an orientation with the Volunteer Services Coordinator
4. Discuss and choose from our available volunteer opportunities

» Give us a call or email to register OR if you’ve missed the date and are eager to begin, call us to book a 1:1 orientation!

» If you have a current CRC (criminal reference check), bring it with you to your orientation (original copies only, please)

Childcare Reimbursement

As a registered volunteer with the PMFRC, your childcare costs are covered. To take advantage of our childcare reimbursement plan you will need to book your children in advance, of your volunteer times, to ensure there is space available at the North or South Side Childcare Centre. Volunteer Services will cover the cost! If you are planning to volunteer on an evening or weekend, we will also reimburse you for your childcare costs (max $20.00/ event). Ask us how!
