Welcome Services

We provide welcome packages and calls to all military families who move to Area Support Unit (ASU) and CFB Petawawa and the Upper Ottawa Valley.

Education Information – This comprehensive service provides current information on education programs, special needs resources and facilities throughout the Upper Ottawa Valley. It’s just one more way we can help you and your family to integrate and adjust into the community. View our education resource site.

Are You Posted and Looking For Resources

We know that moving to a new location can be tough. Below we have listed the contact information for bases across Canada, in Europe and the United States. You can also sign out each base’s welcoming package, which contain information about the area, for your personal use. These resources are available for loan at the South Side Community Centre Monday to Friday from 8:15am to 4pm. For more information call 613-687-2104 ext 221.
