An online discussion forum has been established for families to share their experiences and ideas with DMFS to ensure that our strategy is responsive and effective.

2 July 2009 Toonies for Tots Success On Tuesday June 16, 2009 the Petawawa Military Family Resource Centre (PMFRC) held their annual “Toonies for Tots” fundraiser. For the past eight years, this has been an extremely worthwhile fundraiser and we are pleased to report that this year was the most successful year to date, raising a total of $3,061.07. The agency is sincerely grateful for the community support received in the ways of such generous donation, which will be used towards the delivery of children’s programming.

The Military Family Services Program (MFSP) Participant Survey is an excellent opportunity for military families to have their say about the programs and services provided at their local Canadian/Military Family Resource Centre (C/MFRC). The more surveys completed, the more responsive Director Military Family Services (DMFS) and C/MFRCs can be to the emerging needs of families.
Surveys will be available from 19 May 2009 - 15 June 2009. Surveys can be found at all four PMFRC locations. For further information and details please reference the attached document.

Director Military Family Services (DMFS) has developed several questions for a public on-line forum regarding the establishment of the CF Family Advisory Panel and Secretariat. Military spouses will have the opportunity to respond and/or forward the link to other family members for similar undertakings.
